Mat can be used only as a vertical picture mat. White core is a standard core mat (often called acid-neutral or acid-free mat) that has a very clean, bright white core. The core is the center, thickest part of the mat which shows in the 45 degree bevel of the mat window. Whether you call it a photo mat, pre cut mat or a mat, matt or matte; it s the best selling standard core mat we have. Please do not confuse core with the top of the mat. The top color, the color you see on the face of the mat, can be any color we have in stock. This mat is pre-cut and in-stock.
